Charles "Craig" Horner

Charles “Craig” Horner passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 58, in Boonsboro, MD. While battling cancer he continued to have a smile on his face, his humor never faded, and stayed strong to the very end.

He met the love of his life Melissa “Missy” Horner when they were 17, in high school and have been together building a charming life for the past 41 years. They had two beautiful children, Patrick Horner and Samantha Aulds married to Gregory Aulds; and their grandson, Korbyn Aulds.

Craig loved motorcycles, the ocean, traveling in his motor home with his wife, and his friends and family. He had a passion for art, learning new things, and having fun. He genuinely loved life.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no service but rather honor the life of Craig in your own way as you know he would. Find the memories of him in the best of moments. From family gatherings to the holidays in years to come where he would make his presence known, remember him and keep his spirit alive.

To celebrate his life, his immediate family will be spreading his remains where he loved so much and shared many memories with his family, on the Chesapeake Bay.

He loved deeply, fought firm, worked hard, laughed endlessly, helped always, partied hard, and lived on the edge. In his words, “Spread the love.”
