Charles "CJ" Ellis Hutchinson, II

Charles "C.J." Ellis Hutchinson, II, 20, succumbed to injuries sustained in an early Thanksgiving day car accident in Morongo Valley, California.  He passed away on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA.


C.J. was born December 16, 1988 in Hagerstown, Maryland to mother, Tessa Yvonne Boone-Reed, of Charles Town WV and his father, Charles Ellis Hutchinson of Boonsboro, MD.


C.J. honorably served in the United States Marine Corp from March 2008 until November, 2009 during which time he received a National Defense on Terrorism honor, a Marksmen honor ship and good conduct honor . He is a 2007 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro, Maryland.


In addition to his parents he is survived by sister, Angela Michelle Dill-Weesner and husband Ryan Weesner of Hagerstown; sister, Teresa Yvonne Dill of Hagerstown; sister Brandi Leigh Hutchinson of Ontario, Canada; Seth Hutchinson, brother of Boonsboro, MD; David Michael Boone, step-brother of Martinsburg, WV; nephew, Connor Austin Michael Dill of Hagerstown, MD; step-father Michael John Boone of Kearneysville, WV and step-mother Cindy Hutchinson. Maternal grandparents, Beatrice Joy Reed-Braguiner and George Braguiner of Deltona, FLA; and paternal grandparents Rebecca Moser of Boonsboro, MD.  CJ is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles.


He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Chester Reed and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ethel Hutchinson and Bill Moser, and niece Cheyenne Michelle Shaffer.


The family will receive friends during visitation at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.


At the request of the Father, two funeral services will be conducted.  Charles' father, family and friends will be having services on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro, MD with Rev. Joseph I. Donovan, III officiating. In addition,  Charles' Mother, family and friends will be having services on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Kelly Crenshaw officiating.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of C.J. His mother respectfully request donations be made to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots foundation, 222 North Raleigh Street, Martinsburg, West Virginia in memory of Charles Ellis Hutchinson, II or the J.B.
