Charles "Charlie" Hardy

Charles L. "Charlie" Hardy, 68, of Julia Manor Healthcare Center and formerly of Walnut Towers, both in Hagerstown, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at the healthcare center.
Born April 15, 1939 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Addie M. Holmes Hardy Webber and Charles Edward Hardy.
He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Yeakle of Hagerstown and one son, Ronnie Hardy; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy Hardy.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4 at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery near Sharpsburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
