The world is not as beautiful as it was Tuesday morning after the loss of Charles “Raymond” Zeltman, 80, of Mt. Airy, MD. A great friend, husband, father and man, he will be dearly missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Many remember Raymond as a farmer or cattleman, but most remember him as an incredible person with an unforgettable laugh and an unwavering fighting spirit.
Other than Jean, his wife and “Queen” of 58 years, Raymond is survived and loved by his daughters Mandy, Millie, Marty and Missy and their spouses John, Ethan and Mike. “Gramp(y)” is also survived by grandchildren Brett, Jodi, Jeremy, Ryan and Morgan in addition to his sister Mary Ellen and brother William.
A memorial service will be held 3p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Mt. Airy Bible Church, with a pot-luck to follow.
In memory of Raymond’s love of God, and passion for 4-H and livestock judging, the family wishes that any donations be made to:
