Charles Weddle

Charles Edward ‘Eddie’ Weddle, 50, of Knoxville, MD passed away Monday January 24 ^th , 2011. He was born on October 5 ^th , 1960 in Brunswick, Maryland.

He resided in and around Brunswick, MD his entire life and was a 1978 graduate of Brunswick High School. He was a dedicated husband of 25 years and a loving father, providing a wonderful role model for his four children. He spent his career as a car repairman for the railroad, and received an Amtrak service award for his 20 years of employment with the company. He was an avid fan of the Maryland Terrapins basketball and football teams.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Weddle, and children Andrew, Melanie, Kristen, and Casey, all of Knoxville, MD; mother Catherine Weddle of Brunswick, MD; brothers Danny Weddle and Kevin Weddle of Brunswick, MD; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Earl ‘Buck’ Weddle.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 27 ^th , 2011 from 6PM to 8PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 29 ^th , 2011 at 1:30PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Petersville, MD.
