Charles Steinberg

Mr. Charles DeWayne "Chuck" Steinberg, 47, of New Market, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born June 6, 1967 in Texarkana, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Booter and Janice Pulce.

Chuck was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a Logistics Management Specialist with the Department of Defense at Walter Reed Hospital until his health issues prevented him from working. He was a member of the American Legion Post #60 in Laurel; an avid Dallas Cowboys fan; and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by three children, Charles "Chuckie" Steinberg, Jr., Nick Steinberg, and Dylan Steinberg; two grandchildren, Mileigh and Charleigh; his brother, Brad Steinberg and wife, Linnie, of Arkansas; his significant other, Dana Mindte of New Market; five aunts and uncles, Bonnie Mooneyham, James Garner, Bill Garner, Jerry Garner and Joyce Nottingham; his in-laws, MaryAnn and Nick Flores; his good friends, John Athey, Danny McMurdo and Scott Glover; and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by the mother of his three sons, Ann M. Steinberg.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Interment will be at a later date at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
