Charles Routzahn

Mr. Charles Routzahn passed away at his home in Frederick on January 17, surrounded by his friends at Community Living. "Charlie" was born to the late George and Stella Routzahn on November 4, 1940.
Charlie attended Scott Key Center and Spectrum Support in the past. Charlie was a member of Community Living's Retirement Program for the last two years bringing much joy and laughter. He loved musical DVDs and all types of music. He had a great love of hats, but never a baseball cap. He enjoyed eating out with his housemates, John and Lynn. He had a special gift with small children and animals.
Charlie will be greatly missed by his staff at Community Living, especially Vicky Lee, Sam Gyimah, Susan Herrick and Randi Hill. He also will be remembered by his former staff member, Jami Erickson.
A memorial service for Charlie will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Inurnment will follow in Clustered Spires Cemetery.
