Charles Kinna, Sr.

Mr. Charles E. "Jack" Kinna, Sr., 90, of Jefferson, MD., passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Blanche Ausherman Kinna.
Born April 22, 1920 in Frederick County he was the son of the late Dewey and Jane Ramsburg Kinna.
Jack was a farmer all of his life. He enjoyed gardening, especially his roses, and watching the Orioles.
He is survived by four children Charles E. "Jack" Kinna, Jr and wife Judy of Frederick, Jerry Kinna of Jefferson, Elaine Whittington of Frederick and Sharon Kinna and husband Jeffrey of Thurmont, six grandchildren Karen Simms, Ronald Kinna, Casey Ray Kinna, Chris Whittington, Corey Kinna and Nicholas Kinna, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson, his siblings Ruth Mc Kenzie, Mary Kline, Mildred Shafer, Betty Queen and Glenn Kinna. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Caroline Crum, Paul Kinna, Ralph Kinna, Willian Kinna, Evelyn Kennedy and Clyde Kinna.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, November 26, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., where services will be held Saturday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.
