Mr. Charles E. France, II, 68 passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the wife of Carol Ann France for 27 years.
Born on October 29, 1942 in Baltimore, MD he is the son of Marie Sacks France of Frederick and the late Charles E. France.
Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for East Alco as a manager planner. Mr. France was a member of the American Legion, Frederick and a former member of the Elks. He enjoyed spending time on his boat on the Chesapeake Bay and watching the races on T.V.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are his son David France and wife Rickki of Texas and their daughter Megan; step-sons Daniel Haugh of Frederick, MD and his children Brody and Reese Haugh and Robert Aaron Haugh and wife Karen of CA; sister Elaine Cunningham and husband Tom of West Berlin, PA and their son Brian and wife Melanie also of PA and their son Spencer; Elaine’s daughter Alice Kim and husband Dr. Hyune Heon Kim of Korea and their daughter Marie. He will also be remembered by his best friend Mike Crosswhite and wife Maggie.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 7 at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1415 West 7
th
Street, Frederick. Pastor Ron Reeves will officiate.
