Charles L. Eaves

Charles L. Eaves, 86, of Boonsboro, formerly of Walkersville, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Fahrney - Keedy Memory Care in Boonsboro. Born on April 25, 1938, in Taneytown, he was the son of the late Charles L. Eaves and Mary Louise (Hilldebrand) Eaves.

Charles grew up on a farm with his sisters, and was employed by R.F. Kline for 38 years until his retirement. After retirement he worked for the Frederick Motor Company.

He is survived by his four children; Rhonda Stockman, Teresa Joan Eaves, Randy Eaves (Patricia), and David Eaves (Teresa), grandchildren; January, Jared, Christopher, Rachel, Sunny, Joshua, Christi, Meagan, Brittany, and Derek, and thirteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Frances Shoemaker (Robert). He also leaves behind his special friends Benny and Shirley Harris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Louella Peterson, Marjorie Aubol, and Delores Knott. He is also preceded in death by his grandson Michael Tucker, and son-in-law Linwood Stockman.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 10-11 AM, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave, Walkersville, MD 21793. A memorial service will begin at 11:00, with the Rev. Tim May officiating. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
