Charles Collison

Mr. Charles “Buddy” D. Collison, 68, of Jefferson, Maryland, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Charlene Collison, his wife of 44 years.
Born April 5, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Charles D. and Winifred McGarrity Collison.
Buddy retired, as a supervisor, after 36 years of service, from the Government Printing Office. After retirement, he worked for Proctor and Gamble for over 5 years. He coached Potomac Valley Youth Association basketball for several years. In addition, he was a member of the West Winds Golf Club, the Men’s Association, and the Franklin Technical Society.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons Keith Collison and Brian Collison both of Encinitas, CA, two brothers James Collison of PA, Frank Collison of DE and Barbara Giannone of PA. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown on Monday, August 22, from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon. Deacon George Sisson will officiate.
Interment will be private.
