Mr. Charles Cassell, 55, of Mt. Airy died suddenly on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. He was the husband of Beth Jonas Cassell his wife of 24 years.
Born on July 24, 1952 in El Paso, TX, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Gordy Cassell. He was a supervisor for the Dept. of Agriculture. Charles enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Catherine Cassell of Mt. Airy and boy friend Sam Jones of Long Island, NY; a brother, John Cassell and wife Martha of Charlottesville, VA; his step-mother, Marian Cassell of Virginia Beach, VA; 3 nieces and nephews: William Cassell, Frances Cassell and Elizabeth Cassell all of Charlottesville.

Services:
The family will receive friends from 10 AM -1 PM on Saturday, September 8, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. in Mt. Airy where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon with Rev. Wallace Lusk of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren officiating.
Interment will be private.
