Charles "Charlie" Evans Burr, of Damascus, MD, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on November 11, 1952, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Gloria Evans Burr.

Charlie was a man of few words but always had a funny story to recount from his life, credited his love of board games and card games to his mom, and never met a dog he didn’t love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Burr; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Danielle Brandon; granddaughter and best friend, Kalleigh; sisters, Marilyn (Rusty) Rossie and Susan (James) Valiga. He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished dog, Oscar.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 3-5 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, MD. The interment will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Charlie. His legacy of humor, love for his family, and zest for life will forever be remembered by those who loved him.
