Charles M. Ausherman , 79, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Glade Valley Nursing & Rehab in Walkersville, MD
Born on May 7, 1939, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Chester Ausherman and Lillian (Biddinger) Ausherman.
He is survived by his loving companion of 29 years, Arty Anders and his former wife, Tiny Ausherman.
He graduated from Walkersville High School. He was a life long dairy farmer. He leaves behind a legacy instilling what hard work is all about. He enjoyed duckpin bowling, the Orioles and Washington Nationals. His pride and joy was his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Charles Allen Ausherman and companion Annette, Donnie Ausherman, Ricky Ausherman and his wife Stephanie, Tammie Smith and
Scott Ausherman. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters and his life long friends, Mark and Debbie Redmond.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in
Frederick,MD.
A celebration of Charles's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
Pastor Jim Benedict will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.
