Charles Ambrose

Mr. Charles Kemp Ambrose left his earthly home at St. Catherine’s Nursing Home where he had been cared for the last eight months and moved to a heavenly room the morning of Wednesday, April 5th.
Known to many as Chuck, Bub, Bubby, Chuckles and Charley, to his grandchildren Grandad and Papaw. He was the first born to parents Charles and Lillian Ambrose of Thurmont, MD. He was 76 years old.
He leaves behind his wife Mary of 53 years and their two sons, Charles Richard (Teri) and David Terence (Consetta), five grandchildren, Collin, Elizabeth, Kyle, Amanda and Aiden, his brother George (Mara), his cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 27th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Utica beginning promptly at 11:30am with Pastor Albert Lane III officiating. Graveside services will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 108 Byte Drive, Frederick, MD 21702, Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702 or to a church or organization of one’s choice.
