Charlene Pennington Gordon

Charlene M. Pennington Gordon, 59, of Brunswick, MD, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of Glenn E. Gordon for eight years.
Born April 28, 1956 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Judith Burns of Frederick and the late Charles McDonald.
She was employed by the City of Frederick for 30 years as a communications clerk.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her only son, Paul A. Pennington of Brunswick; sisters, Tammy Shankle and Charlotte Lightner both of Frederick and Linda Miller of Braddock Heights, MD; and her grandchildren, Brook and Blaine Pennington both of Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by a sister, June Tyeryar.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 2nd at the funeral home with Rev. Tim May officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
