C. Edward "Tony" Rhea

Mr. C. Edward “Tony” Rhea, 71, of Hedgesville , WV , formerly of Frederick , died on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Meritus Medical Center , Hagerstown . He was the husband of Patricia A. Rhea.

Born on February 28, 1939 in Dunmore, WV., he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Virginia Little Rhea.

He worked for over 42 years in the banking industry and was a former vice president at Fredericktown Bank. He was a member of the Kiwanis of Frederick and the Marlowe Ruritan in WV.

Surviving are three daughters; Pam Rhea of Frederick, Vonnie Rhea of College Station, Texas and January Garrett of Charles Town, WV, one granddaughter, Kimberly Millone of College Station, TX, one great grandson, Karsen Ramsey of College Station, TX, two sisters, Millie McCarter of Woodstock, VA and Beverly Smith of Walkersville, MD. He also has numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles Rhea and his twin brother, Jack Rhea.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 4, from 12:00 pm until time of Funeral Services at 2:00 pm , at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick , MD. Bishop Jerry Price will officiate.  Interment will follow in Burkittsville Cemetery .
