C. Edgar Webber

Mr. C. Edgar Webber, age 70, of Appletown Road, Boonsboro, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.
Born August 17, 1937 in Brunswick, MD, he was a son of the late Clarence Raymond and Mary Lou Runkles Webber.
He retired in 1999 from the CSX Railroad in Brunswick with 43 years service.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Locust Grove.
He was a member of Moose International Lodge 3000, Clopper-Michael Post 10 American Legion in Boonsboro, AMVETS Post 10 in Hagerstown, and Improved Order of Redmen Lodge 155 in Boonsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Yvonne Reeder Webber, whom he married Aug. 29, 1957; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy S. Webber; three sisters, Helen Kaetzel, Martha Haugh and Grace Reed; and one brother, Morgan Webber.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Locust Grove.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
