Cecelia J. (Baker) Tyler

Ms. Cecelia J. ( Baker ) Tyler , 68, of Frederick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer, on Sunday, June 29th, 2008, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 18, 1939 near Takoma Park, Md. she was the daughter of the late
Benton L. and Irene V. ( Burroughs ) Baker .

Ms. Tyler was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was
her life. She was employed as an executive secretary for Virtro Corp./ BAE systems,
retiring in 2001.

Surviving are her 3 children; David W.. Tyler, Sr. and wife Mary E. of Harpers Ferry, WV, Deborah A. Tyler - Runkles and husband Michael W. of Frederick, Daryl L. Tyler and wife Ann M. of Frederick, 3 brothers; Tyson E. Baker and wife Linda H. of Sapulpa, OK, John T. Baker of Baltimore, Benton I. Baker and wife Nora of Punta Gorda, FL, 6 grandchildren; David w. Tyler, Jr., and wife Christie, Monica J. Bush and husband Robert, Tommy Plourde, Sydney, Brady and Ashley Tyler, 3 great-grandchildren; Morgan Tyler, Carlie Bush and Addison Tyler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her pet companion Godiva. She was preceded in death by a nephew Tyson E. Baker Jr. and a great-niece Cori J. Baker.

Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Thursday, July 3rd, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m

Services: A memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Thursday, July 3rd, with the Rev. Linda Warehime of Brook Hill United Methodist officiating.
