C. Colleen Moore

Charlotte Colleen Phillips Moore, 91 years young, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 peacefully in hospice at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 31, 1924 in Brunswick, Maryland to the late Allen Leon Phillips and Gertrude Eugenia Grubb Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lee Moore.

She was formerly of Rockville, Maryland and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockville.

She leaves, to cherish her memory, three sons, Harvey L. Moore, II of Idaho, Raymond L. Moore and wife, Carolyn, of Catonsville, Maryland, William (Bill) Moore and wife, Bonnie, of Frederick and one daughter, Ila (Genie) Moore Snyder and husband, Dean, of Boiling Springs, North Carolina; five grandchildren, William Snyder of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Deana Lee and husband, Michael, of York, South Carolina, Jason Moore and partner, Caroline Carlson, of Boonsboro, Maryland, Jonathan Moore and partner, Rachel Rabat, of Frederick, Rachel DeVinney and husband, Chris, of Annapolis, Maryland;
also, three great-grandchildren, James Michael Lee, Camden Michael Moore and Destiny Elizabeth (Carlson) Nash.  She is also survived by a sister June Orrison of Rosemont and a brother Allen Leon Phillips.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick, Maryland.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29th at the funeral home with Rev. R. Thomas Fralin officiating.  Burial will follow at Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Citizens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Frederick, and Hospice of Frederick County, Frederick, Maryland for their wonderful loving care.

Colleen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
