Cathy Lynn Wachter

Cathy Lynn Wachter, 67, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born on April 19, 1957, Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of John “Jack” Franklin Fleischman and Ruby Sue Fleischman (Hildebrand). She was a 1975 graduate of Frederick High School. 

She was an owner of Myersville Exxon with her husband, Elmer, and daughter Cheryl. She was a vital part of Myersville Exxon and Mason Dixon Dragway. 

She loved spending time with her family, her dogs and especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Elmer Wachter, her daughter Cheryl Dianne Landes and husband Jake Landes, granddaughters, Payton Olivia Landes, and Bailee Rose Landes, stepsons Anthony Joseph Wachter and Andrew Michael Wachter, Sister Linda Johnson, Father John Fleischman, and nieces and nephews. 

 The family will receive family and friends on January 24, 2025, from 12-3pm and 6-9pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702.
