Catherine Stangle

Catherine Louise (Beachley) Stangle, 91, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Born on September 17, 1924, in Boonsboro, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Alvey and Bessie (Kephart) Beachley. Her husband of 56 years, Howard K. "Tink" Stangle, preceded her in death on November 6, 2002.
Catherine was a member of Chestnut Grove Bible Church in Keedysville.
She loved crossword puzzles and reading, but most of all she was dedicated to her loving family.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Siler of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one son, Kevin K. Stangle, Sr. of Fredericksburg, Virginia; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Dirting; one son, Keith Stangle; her two sisters, Hilda Shank and Betty Boward; her brother, Austin Beachley; one grandson, Christopher Dirting; and one great grandson, Mathias Stangle.
A graveside funeral ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015, at the Boonsboro Cemetery in Boonsboro, Maryland. Rev. David B. Manley will officiate.
