Catherine Johnson

Catherine Marie Johnson, 25, of Myersville, passed away Thursday March 2, 2017. Born on April 27, 1991, she was the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Callahan of Myersville, MD, and Joseph Johnson of Waynesboro, PA.

Catherine graduated from Middletown High School in 2009. Upon her graduation, Catherine enrolled in Frederick Community College. She always wanted to help others. With that spirit in mind, she pursued a degree in nursing.

Catherine loved the outdoors, especially the beach. Catherine and her family would spend their vacations camping or at the beach. She was an avid lover of sports and enjoyed watching football with her dad. Catherine was a competition and football cheerleader at Middletown High School. At the end of her life, her passion was her precious boys, Jacek and Brayden. She worked hard to provide love and support for her children.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is survived by her two beautiful sons, Jacek and Brayden Parks; her brother, Michael Callahan; her sister, Nickie Kelly; her brother-in-law, Michael Kelly; her four nephews, and numerous extended family.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD, where services will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tim May officiating.
