Catherine Marie Holland 77, of Damascus, departed this life on July 6, 2015, at Northampton Manor Center, Frederick.
Born on November 2, 1937, in Frederick County she was the daughter of the late John Emory and Mamie Louise Cromwell Holland.
Surviving are a sister, Rita Diggs of Damascus; a uncle, Earl Johnson and wife Rita, one aunt, Madeline Johnson; nephews: Dwayne Diggs and wife Angel, Philip Diggs and wife Yvonne and Roy Banjoman; nieces: Michelle Diggs, Tracey Banjoman, Fran Banjoman; devoted cousin Mary Overs as well as a number of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Holland, a brother, John Lee Holland and several beloved aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, July 16, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Graveside services and interment will be private.
