Catherine Hoffman

Catherine M. Hoffman, 93, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Heartfields at Frederick with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late George E. Hoffman Sr.
Born on February 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Geneva Beard. She was the last of her immediate family. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, George E. Hoffman Jr., and wife Susan; grandchildren, Jennifer Hoffman and Paul Hoffman and his wife Lori; great grandchildren, Lukas and Ainsley Hoffman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her four siblings, and her daughter, Nancy J. Hoffman.
The family will receive friends from 2-5pm on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opposumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. The funeral service will be held at 3pm on Monday, January 29th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
