Carolyn Anne Murphy, 77, of Fredrick, Maryland passed away on Friday, September 6th 2019 with her family by her side.
She is survived by her children Theodore Davis, Jr., Richard Davis, Colleen Davis, and Irene Saah & her husband Nadim; sisters Helen (CiCi) Day & her husband, Rudell, and Linda Loughery
She also leaves behind her grandchildren Mary Kopp, Priscilla Ohanian, Holland LaFalcia, Alexis Moes, Tyler Saah, Jacquelyn Swensen, Amanda Keppner, Juliana, Nicholas, Richard Jr., Bryan, Lois-Olivia, Savannah, and Aaron Davis; Great grandchildren Maddox, Grayson, & Hunter Kopp, Beckham Morris, Marcus Moes, Auri Swensen, Charlotte Keppner, Lily, Vincent & Gino LaFalcia, Silas Davis, and Bryce Ohanian; Grandchildren In Law Daniel Kopp, Joshua Moes, Colby Swensen, Edward Ohanian, Brennan Keppner, and Tatiana Saah; Close Family Members Constance & Jonathan Dittberner, Greg & Debbie Day, Tammy & Jeff Brown, Preston Morris, LaVerne Davis, and Natalie Berkowitz; Grand and great grand pets Bear, Bowzer, Bruno, Marley, Lucy, Akeeta, Charlie, Chance, Copper, Kona, and Fur. She will also be dearly missed by close friends Paula Anzalone, Marsha Robinette, and Jessica Raye Mcgugin.
Carolyn has been preceded in death by her parents Richard T. & Helen C. Murphy.
Carolyn’s heart overflowed with her love of animals, a fascination for film editing & movies, dancing, helping others, and being with her family most of all. Beginning in the 1960’s she championed causes close to her heart volunteering with several civil rights organizations, equestrian therapy groups for special needs children, and The Socializers Club for special needs adults. She loved a great practical joke, always had a smile, and was a captivating storyteller.
A special appreciation is sent out to The Kline House Hospice who cared for Carolyn in the final weeks of her life.
Her life will be celebrated and fondly remembered on Sunday, September 15, 2019 @ 2pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with a reception afterward off site of ceremony service. Flowers will be accepted beginning Saturday 9/14.
