Carolyn Louise Hooper, 67 of Hagerstown, formerly of Mt. Airy passed away on Monday, August 3rd at Meritus Medical Center.
Born March 20, 1948 in Indiana, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Idella Brust.
Carolyn loved watching baseball and she was a huge Orioles fan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music.
She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Hooper, a daughter, Jennifer Smith and husband Michael, grandchildren, Kylie Hooper, Mason Smith, Morgan Smith, Makaya Smith and Peyton Smith and a sister Laura Rau. She will also be remembered by her niece and numerous nephews
She is preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Hidalgo.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, August 7th from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
