Caroline C. McPherson

Caroline C. McPherson, age 69, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, long time resident of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2006, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Caroline was the Director of Medical Meetings for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda, MD, for 23 years. Over her 23-year tenure with the CF Foundation, she has interacted with thousands of people from all over the world. Her life revolved around her family and friends and her CF Family. She cherished the CF Foundation and all of the people associated with it. Because of her, the CF Foundation is a better organization and her imprint on the folks that she mentored, whether it be fellow employees or new center directors, will live on as the CF Foundation moves closer to accomplishing their mission. Caroline was always ready to listen and willing to share her talents and her friendship with everyone.

She was survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert A. McPherson, Jr., her daughter Caroline Lee McPherson and her son Robert A. McPherson, III.

Services: Memorial Services will be held for Caroline at 11:30 AM on Sunday, November 26, 2006, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, Maryland 21771.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
