Caroline Louisa (Watchorn) Grams, 104, of Boonsboro, Maryland passed from this life on Monday, March 30th 2015, at her home.
Born on November 10, 1910 in Manitoba, Canada. She was the daughter of the late John Edward Kirk and Alice (Perry) Watchorn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Carlton Grams, in 1985.
Caroline moved to Yarrowsburg, Maryland in 1922. She attended school in Yarrowsburg and at the age of 16 she received her bookkeeping degree from the Hagerstown Business College.
She was employed at Masser Express Company and later with Bohman Warne Company, both in Hagerstown. After her marriage and the birth of her son, she became a homemaker.
Caroline was a charter member of the Pleasant Valley Senior Citizens group, she volunteered at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, and she was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Brownsville where she was active in many capacities. She remained active well past her 100th birthday.
She is survived by her son John C. Grams and wife Yvonne of Charleston, West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 3rd at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2150 Boteler Road in Brownsville. Rev. Charles R. Holder will officiate.
