Carol Hennessey Dant

Mrs. Carol Hennessey Dant, 58, of Frederick went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1st in the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife for 31 years to Richard J. Dant.

Born on December 26, 1951 in Bethesda, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor Elsie (Ziegler) and Ralph Edward Hennessey. Carol was a graduate of the University of Maryland.

A devoted and loving mother and wife, she was a member of the Frederick Christian Fellowship Church and had membership with the Community Bible Study.

Besides her husband she is survived by her two children, Kevin Joseph Dant and Shannon Denise Dant both of Frederick; her six siblings, Marjorie Clark and husband Paul of Ponce De Leon, FL, Patricia "P.J." Hennessey and husband William Irvins of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Bill Hennessey of Montgomery Village, Jeannie Euler of Kansas City, KS, Annie Zimbelman and husband Thomas of San Diego, CA and Mary Beth Hennessey also of Kansas City, KS; her two sister-in-laws, Lynda Smargiassi and husband Mike of Boonsboro, and Nicky Noah and husband Bill of Libertytown.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 until 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9th at 1:00 PM in the Frederick Christian Fellowship Church Complex, 10142 Hansonville Road, Frederick, with Pastor Janet Cregger officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
