Carol Zeisweiss

Carol Lee Zeisweiss, 77, of Middletown died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Edward Zeisweiss for 50 years.

Born December 24, 1943 in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Alvie Stouts and Irene (Waters) Stout.

She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, was an avid animal lover and took pride in caring for her many cats, dogs, and horses over the years.

Carol loved to travel, visiting many states across the U.S. She enjoyed sightseeing, and especially loved visiting Yellowstone National Park.

She worked for many years at Vindobona Nursing Home as a registered nurse before her retirement.

Surviving in addition to husband are her sister Linda Simpson and husband, Eugene; many nieces and nephews; and her godson, Christopher House.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
