Carol Louise Sullivan, 81, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away on September 21, 2024 in her home surrounded by her daughters and husband who loved her dearly. She was the wife of Galen F. Sullivan.

Carol was born on January 8, 1943 in Sterling, VA. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Rhoderick and husband, Paul, and her daughter, Charlene McMillen and husband, Adam. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda Rhoderick, Colton and Natalie Rhoderick, Ian and Kylee McMillen, and Colin McMillen; great-grandchildren, Cannon Rhoderick, Kinsley Rhoderick, Hudson McMillen, Cooper McMillen, and Remi Rhoderick; a special nephew, Michael Brandenburg and wife, Cindy; sister-in-law, Sue Utterback and husband, Bill; and sister-in-law, Delores Williams; and many nieces, nephews; and cousins who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, George and Mary Williams, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, James and Anna Sullivan; sisters, Marg Brandenburg and Helen Vincent; brother, Charles Williams; and special niece, Laura Rosencrantz.

Carol was a 1960 graduate of Poolesville High School and just attended her 64th class reunion one week ago and shared special time with her classmates who she forged a lifelong friendship with. She was a devoted member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren for most of her life where she developed many close friendships. 

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing games, reading, music, dancing, and crocheting.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 26th at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Knoxville, MD with Pastor Calvin Park officiating.
