Mrs. Carol Ann Saylor, 69, of Monrovia, passed away on March 14, 2012, at Georgetown Medical Center, Washington, DC. She was the wife of Milton E. Saylor, her husband of 42 years.
Born on December 25, 1942, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Lois Jane Hufnagle Duvall of Delaware and the late James E. Duvall. Carol worked as a Claims representative for Allstate Insurance Company. She enjoyed to cook and garden, but mostly loved spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are children: Thomas J. Rufty and wife Rhonda of Baltimore, Michael T. Rufty and wife Jackie of Jefferson, Chad Saylor and wife Tammy of Mt. Airy and step daughter Julie Durfee and husband Tom of Virginia; grandchildren: Megan Brook Rufty, T.J. Rufty, Callie Ann Rufty and Zachary Todd Rufty; a sister Terri Rimel and husband Thomas of Frederick
The family will receive friends form 5-8 PM on Sunday, March 18, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 19, with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.
Interment will take place in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
