Carol Marceron

Carol Lynn (LaHayne) Marceron, 68, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of 47 years to Richard Marceron.
Born on April 5, 1949, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert E. LaHayne and Dorothea (Betts) LaHayne. Carol graduated from Wheaton High School and spent 43 years as a resident of Frederick County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren and her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Scottie Marceron and daughter-in-law Kela (Sicilia) Marceron; her grandchildren, Toni, Aiden, Cooper, Keegan and Rocklin Marceron; her siblings, Barbara LaHayne, Cathy LaHayne, and Russel LaHayne. She will also be missed by her best friends, Sandy Cox, Barbara Lambert and Cathy Stull.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richie Marceron and her sister, Dorothea “Bootsie” Evans.
A celebration of Carol’s life journey will take place at 11am on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opposumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at 11am. Interment will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
