Carol Derk

Mrs. Carol A. Derk, 62, of Rockville and Titusville, Florida, died on Saturday December 24, 2011 at Kline Hopsice House, Mt. Airy. Maryland.

Born on November 17, 1949 in Rockville, Maryland, she was the daughter of David Gregg of Aspen Hill, MD and the late Gretchen Virginia Neal.

Surviving in addition to her father is a son, Darryl E. Derk Jr. and wife Jennifer Trite of Frederick, MD. Grandchildren, Ethan Koogle and Kadence Derk. Brothers David Gregg and wife Mary of Damascus and David Elmore of Rockville. Sisters, Dina Muffley and husband Ronnie of Prince Georges County, MD and Lori Leatherman of Frederick. Also survived by a dear aunt Jojo Butts of Frederick. Also survived by numerous niece, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 28, from 6-8pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD, where Memorial Services will begin at 8pm that evening in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
