Carmichael Telfer

Carmichael McDonald Telfer, 65, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was the husband of Judy Telfer for 45 years. Born December 24, 1951 in Belmont, Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, he was the son of Aubrey and Martha Panchum Telfer.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are sons: Nigel Telfer (Theresa) of Texas, Neil Telfer (Shanta) of Maryland; Daughters: Gail Clark (Daryl) of Maryland, Arshmanie Hobson (Satesh) of Canada as well as Four Grandchildren: Madison, Indi, Neil, Jr., and Sameer. He is also survived by brothers: Nicholas Telfer (Carmine) of Trinidad, Arthur Telfer (Patsy) and Terry Telfer of New York, a sister Kathleen Telfer of Trinidad, six sister-in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Telfer also leaves behind two God daughters: Julie Ann Newman of South Carolina and Michelle Garcia of Trinidad. He was preceded in death by his father, brothers Derek and Richard; sister Anne Rochard; one sister in law and two brother in laws.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
