Mr. Carl C. Truitt, 53, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Delores Truitt.
Born October 21, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Charlotte Owens Truitt of Philadelphia, PA and the late Alexander Moody.
Carl graduated from John Hopkins University, magna cum laude, and was in the Who’s Who in Philadelphia. He was employed for 4+ years, for Homeland Security, as a contractor with INFOZEN. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was known as “Big Sexy”. He also enjoyed football, baseball, fantasy football and playing poker online.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter Luciana Harrell and husband Rainell, grandchildren Raja, Rainell, Jr., and Raina Harrell, his siblings Bernadette Moody, Kenneth Moody, Calvin Truitt, Gwendolyn Truitt, James and George Truitt. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service and time of sharing will be held on Friday, September 6, from 3-6pm at 1804 Black Walnut Court, Frederick, Maryland, 21701..
Interment will be private
