Mr. Calvin Mark Wisser, 55 of Point of Rocks, MD died suddenly on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Nassau, Bahamas while vacationing with his wife. He was the husband of Tammy Wisser.
Born May 8, 1956 he was the son of Calvin H. Wisser of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Joanne Wisser.
Calvin served in the US Army. He attended Penn State University and graduated from the University of Las Vegas. He then received both his Master’s degrees from University of Maryland.
He was currently employed as a Sr. Network Engineer with GCI.
Calvin enjoyed spending time with his family and children and was an avid animal lover. He collected watches, knives and enjoyed shopping and finding the best deals.
In addition to his loving wife Tammy he is survived by his two children, Ashley D. Wisser and Lcpl Mark H. Wisser both of Point of Rocks, his sister, Barbara Ann Lehew and husband John of Pittsburgh, PA, nieces, Amanda Rocker, Erica Kelley, and Amy Cota, nephews, Sam Rickrode and Rodney Rickrode, Jr.
He will also be remembered by his other family members, friends and all if his co-workers.
He is preceded in death by his mother Joanne Wisser and his in-laws, Harry and Peggy Rickrode.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24th from 2:00-9:00Pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 25th at 2:00PM with Rev. John Webber officiating.
Interment will be private.
