Burnice Phelps Seaton, age 94 of Frederick Maryland passed peacefully on February 23, 2017 at Somerford Place in Frederick, Maryland.
Born Burnice Phelps on June 14, 1922 in Scotland Neck, NC she was the daughter of Charles & Josephine and had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She was married to Thomas Edward Seaton for 38 years who preceded her in death in 1981.
Burnice is lovingly remembered by her 5 children Sheila Allen, Thomas Seaton Jr., Donna Cheeks, Debra Bort and Veronica Nasuti. Granny, as she was affectionately known had 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Gene, Tina, Marcia, Eric - deceased, Stephanie, Tony, Brandon, Joseph and Matthew as well as 10 great grandchildren, Amanda , Savannah, Makenna, Caitlin, Molly, Chloe, Hannah, Hope, Robert and Gabriel.
On Monday, February 27, guests will be welcomed at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland beginning at 10:30AM followed by an 11 AM memorial service. Burial will be at Parklawn Cemetery at 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD at 1 pm.
