Mr. Bruno J. Nicknadarvich, Sr., 94, of Frederick, MD., died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Citizens Care & Rehab Center. He was the husband of the late Theresa De Mao Nicknadarvich.
Born May 20, 1913 in Charleroi, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Tillie Thomas Nicknadarvich.
Bruno was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge #684, the American Legion Post #11, Knight of Columbus, the V.F.W. and Civilian Conservation Corps. He served his County in the U. S. Army during WWII, loved sports and was an avid bingo player. In earlier years he was employed as a printing press operator at IBM.
He is survived by his son Bruno J. Nicknadarvich, Jr. and wife Pam of Frederick, grandchildren, Bruno J. Nicknadarvich, III , Steven Wise, Ian Manicom and Sarah Manicom, his sister Stella Lawther of Morgantown, WVA and his brother William Nicknadarvich of Bladensburg, MD
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake service on Sunday Evening at 7:00 p.m.
Services:
Graveside services and interment will be Monday,
August 13, at 1:00 p.m. from East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, WVA.
