Brooks Randall Borman

Mr. Brooks Randall Borman, 52, of Frederick, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2023 at home.  He was the proud father of Griffin Borman; cherished son of Kathy and the late Paul “Spike” Borman; loving brother of Holly (George) Russo and Heather (Pete) Gouvis; uncle of Kate Russo, Joey Russo, James Gouvis and honorary uncle to George Carson, Anthony Carson and many others; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a family of close friends.

To all who knew him, Brooks was larger than life. He had a big voice, a big personality, and a huge heart. He was a die-hard Steelers fan and loved spending time with his family and his “chosen family” of friends. He was the life of the party and always made people laugh. He is described by many as one of a kind, an amazing friend, and a legend. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pittsburgh family and friends will be received on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 5 PM until the time of service at 6 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333).

Maryland family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5 PM until the time of memorial service at 6 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702 (301.663.1690).

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to be sent to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank or the Frederick Rescue Mission.
