Brittany Nicole Shiben, 30, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2018 after fighting a long battle with addiction.
Brittany was born on January 30, 1988 in Mt.Airy, MD to loving parents David and Debbie Shiben. Although she was granted her angel wings too soon, she will forever be remembered for her contagious kindness, outgoing nature, artistic talents, and witty sense of humor. While her beautiful soul will remain in our hearts for eternity, let her story on earth remind us all of how precious life is.
Brittany is survived by her father, David Shiben; her mother, Debbie Shiben; her step-mother, Ana Lazaro-Shiben; her siblings, Taj Shiben, Mindy Shiben, Jenna Louder, and Christopher Shiben; her brother-in-law, Robert Louder; her nephews, Kadin Swann and Ashton Bane; and her nieces, Harley Louder and Layne Louder.
A Tribute to Brittany’s life will be held on April 14, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 beginning with a gathering of friends and family at 2pm. Loved ones are welcome and encouraged to share their favorite memories of Brittany at 3pm followed by a brief reception. In honor of Brittany’s free-spirited nature, dress comfortably, casually, and colorfully if you desire.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Up and Out Foundation (www.upandoutfoundation.org) in Brittany’s honor.
