Bridget Louise Vache ́, 58, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was the wife of Walter Leskuski, Jr. and mother of two children, Walter Leskuski III and Leila Vache ́ Leskuski. In addition, Bridget is survived by two brothers, Peter Vache ́ of Urbana and Jean Andre ́ Vache ́ III of Ventura, California, a niece Julia Vache ́, a nephew Andrew Vache ́ both from Frederick and many cousins in British Columbia.
Born on April 22, 1955 in Swindon, England she was the daughter of Ellen Pedersen Vache ́ of Frederick and the late Jean Andre ́ Vache ́, Jr. Bridget graduated from London High School in 1973 and is a graduate of the University of South Florida earning a BS in English.
Bridget worked for 20 years with the Frederick County Government as a Software Integrator. She also worked for many years with both the Frederick YMCA and Monocacy Acquatic Club as a coach. Bridget was very involved with the Shenandoah Valley, Capital Region and the Unites States Pony Clubs.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 1-2PM with a service beginning at 2PM. Father Keith Boisvert, from Saint Katharine Drexel will be the celebrant.
Interment will be private.
Bridget and family are members of Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Frederick. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests donations made in Bridget's memory to the St. Katharine Drexel Church Building Fund, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
