Brian Taylor

Brian Scott Taylor, 31, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed from this life on Monday, December 26, 2016 in Houston, TX at the Kindred Hospital.

Born on September 26, 1985, he was the son of Norman Taylor of Mt. Airy, MD and Marilyn Edmonds of New Market, MD.

Brian was a 2003 graduate from South Carroll High School and a 2008 graduate from Towson University with a Bachelor's Degree in English literature. Since then he had enjoyed restoring a '65 Ford Mustang.

He was employed by Coverstar East Coast since 2008, and has been helping his brother, Kevin, on the job since he was 12 years old. At ZeniMax, Inc. located in Rockville, MD, Brian completed an internship of testing video games. He had also received the rank of Sandan 3rd degree black belt in Hakutsuru-Tatsu Shorin-Ryu.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers and sister, Gary Taylor (Kami), Cathy Taylor, Kevin Taylor and Jeffrey Taylor (Sydney); nieces and nephews, Zachary, Emily, Jacen, Brooklyn, Kalel and Jack Taylor-Crammer.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 2017 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7255 Ridge Road, Mt. Airy, where they invite family and friends to join them for a meal. A celebration of Brian's life journey will begin at 7 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made, in Brian's memory, to Taylors Medical Fund, c/o Ms. Marilyn Edmonds.

Everyone loved Brian and everyone will miss him dearly.
