Brenda K. Sulcer

Brenda K. Sulcer, 70, of Boonsboro, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Frederick Health Hospital. 

Brenda was born on January 17, 1953, in Hagerstown, to the late Charles J. and Marian E. Rohrer Smith.

Brenda was a graduate of Boonsboro High School, where she made lifelong friendships. She treasured spending time mushroom hunting with her father and sons during the spring season. Additionally, she found happiness in simple pleasures such as gathering around the picnic table in the backyard to enjoy delicious crabs. Brenda's love for Nascar racing was well-known among those close to her, whether it was attending races at Dover International Speedway or watching them on television, she gained true excitement from the sport.

Brenda had a fulfilling job as an associate at Weis Market in Boonsboro. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made her a favorite among customers and coworkers.

Brenda cherished her family and friends, finding comfort in their presence. She leaves behind her two sons, Brent Sulcer of Sharpsburg and Ryan Sulcer of Boonsboro, who held a special place in her heart. Brenda's love for them exceeded bounds, and she took great pride in being their mother. She also leaves behind her cherished cats, Callie and Gracie, who provided comfort and friendship throughout her life.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral located at 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. 

Memorial donations may be offered to Humane Society of Washington County.
