Brandon Michael Smith, 26, of Charles Town, WV passed away, August 3rd, at home of a heroin overdose. Born September 16, 1991, he was the son of John Smith, Jr and Susan Owens. Brandon had a love for life and enjoyed doing anything outdoors. Many only knew Brandon through the lens of addiction but he was far more than that. He was a kind, loving young man with his whole life ahead of him. Brandon loved meeting new people and could find a friend in anyone. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back and then joke about not having a shirt. Brandon is survived by a son, Jayden Michael Smith, a brother Derek Ryan Smith and many other loving family members. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hopedealerproject.org. The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, |1100 N. Maple Ave. Brunswick, Md on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 from 1-3pm and 7-9pm.
Interment will be private.
