Brandon Wesley Sgaggero, 29, of Funkstown, formerly of Boonsboro, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at his home.
Born April 7, 1978 in Anchorage Alaska, he was the son of Steven Michael and Tammie Kathleen Wright Sgaggero of Hagerstown.
Brandon was a 1996 graduate of Boonsboro High School where he was a member of the Optimist Club and the Lacrosse team. He was also a member of the Who's Who of American high school students.
He was employed by Amcor Flexibles in Hagerstown for the past two years.
Brandon attended Covenant Life Church on the Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Kellie L. Kefauver and husband, Brad, of Hagerstown; brothers, Michael J. Sgaggero and Steven M. Sgaggero both of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Sydnie and Daniel Kefauver and Conner Sgaggero; maternal and paternal grandparents; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many close friends.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11 at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Tim Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
