Brandon Edward Herbert, 18, of Thurmont, MD passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012.
Born February 28, 1993 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Charles Edward and Donetta Ventimiglia Herbert of Thurmont.
Brandon was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, snowboarding, ATV riding and fishing.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his twin sister Kaitlyn Herbert and sister Kelsey Herbert both of Thurmont; maternal grandmother Edith Ventimiglia of Emmittsburg; paternal grandparents Charles Herbert, Sr. of Smithsburg and Norma Brooks of Germantown; aunts and uncles Dana and Jodell Ventimiglia, Donald Ventimiglia, Duane and Sally Ventimiglia and Dean and Patty Ventimiglia, Rhonda Herbert and Daniel and Michelle Herbert, numerous cousins and friends and special friend Brittany Duncan, and also special family friends the Toms, Eyler and Gautney families.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather John M. Ventimiglia.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home 104 E. Main Street on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 20 at 11AM at Thurmont United Methodist Church 13880 Long Road, Thurmont. Pastor Richard Broome will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Brandon Herbert Memorial Fund c/o P.N.C. Bank, 16 E. Main St., Thurmont, MD 21788.
Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
