Bradley Allen Proudfoot

Bradley Allen Proudfoot, 41, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life suddenly on Sunday, November 17, 2024 in Santa Monica, California. Born on February 19, 1983, in Washington, DC, he was the son of Lawrence Edward Proudfoot, Jr. and Elizabeth Carole (Bennett) Proudfoot of Frederick.

He graduated from Linganore High School, Class of 2001. After graduation, Bradley left home to go to Utah and worked at Snowbird and Brighton Ski Resorts. His adventurous spirit took him all over the world from Utah, to Costa Rica, and eventually living in Santa Monica, CA for the past 15 years. He worked many different jobs including lifeguard, baker, and server. He loved the beach, surfing, and snowboarding. He never met a stranger and was beloved by many.

He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick, MD.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Lawrence Proudfoot, III and wife, Christine, and his sister, Valerie Proudfoot. Three nieces Abigail, Caroline, and June Proudfoot. He leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and his dear friend of 15 years, Tony Cisneros. 

He was predeceased by his martial grandparents, Virginia and Ted Bennett, and paternal grandparents, JoAnna and Lawrence Proudfoot, Sr. 

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tues. Nov. 26, at Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Bradley's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wed. Nov. 27, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Pastor Steve Larson will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 West 2nd St., Frederick, MD in his name.
