Bradley Hayes

Bradley Steven Hayes, 33, of Emmitsburg, Maryland, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.

Born on July 1, 1984, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of mother, Debora, and husband, David Reckley and father, Douglas Hayes.

Bradley loved life, the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, girls and loved all his friends and family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to parents, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Karen Thurley of Winchester, Virginia, Linda Cooper and husband, Mike, of Aspers, Pennsylvania and Charles Clabaugh, Sr. and wife, Christy, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; step brothers, David Reckley and wife, Jessica, of Thurmont and Brian Reckley and wife, Danielle, of Fairfield, Pennsylvania; step sister, Karrie Freeman and husband, Jacob, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; cousins, Randy Brent and Jessica Barrett, Jason Cooper, Jenn Eley, Danielle Martin, Isaiah Thurley, Charles Clabaugh, Jr. and Ashley Clabaugh; and other cousins in the family.

He was preceded by his brother, Erik Wayne Hayes; Uncle Ricky Clabaugh; and grandparents, Lorraine and Sonja Clabaugh.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.

A celebration of Bradley's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Home in Thurmont with Rev. Donna Sandridge officiating. Burial will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Harney, MD immediately following services.
